Mitsubishi Recalls- What you need to know

From time to time, Mitsubishi Australia may release vehicle recalls if they determine that a vehicle model has a safety-related defect or does not comply with safety standards.

How do I know if my vehicle is affected?

If your vehicle is affected by a manufacturer recall, you will receive a letter from Mitsubishi Motors Australia Ltd. containing a description of the defect, risk or hazard, potential warning signs and instrictions on what you should do next.

About the Takata Airbag Recall

It has been found that after prolonged exposure to high humidity and fluctuating high temperatures, Takata airbags found in certain Mitsubishi vehicles, could degrade. Resulting in excessive pressure during airbag deployment and causing the inflator to rupture. Defective airbags may cause injury or even death during an accident of sufficient severity.
